About the Client
Choose my Care.com is a new company founded by a team of IT and care industry professionals. The founders had identified a gap in the market for a directory service enabling disabled people and care service users to easily find care providers in their area, with the specific expertise they need. As the first type of website of its kind in the UK, this was a major new initiative - attracting a great deal of attention from the media, social services and the care community.
What we did for Them
- A large-scale, searchable directory of care service providers
- Users can search by region, radius from their postcode, type of service provided, etc
- Care companies register for an account and can advertise their services to users within their region
- A 'brokerage' system enables service users to instantly send their requirements to all relevant providers in their areas
- An in-built messaging system within the site allows for secure and anonymous communication between advertisers and service users
